- Create a business-friendly environment that fosters an environment that supports innovation and growth – get rid of all the red tape, side deals, and unnecessary permits.
- Renovate, update, and market Jackson’s tourist attractions: Jackson Convention Center, Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers Airport (attract more airlines/flights), Russell C. Davis Planetarium, Thalia Mara Hall, Jackson Zoo (relocate).
- Entice new business by other entrepreneurs (Fondren/District), partnering with other cities, the state and the federal government (Jackson Water).
- Develop – Lake Hico, Farish Street, and Downtown Pearl River Basin into top tourist attractions.
- Support workforce development by expanding job training programs in partnership with local colleges, universities, and non-profits. I plan to help build a workforce that is ready to meet the needs of growing industries.
